Very true, Benny, but users should also be sure they have Q818529 installed
which updates Urlmon.dll to version 6.00.2800.1188 (for most). Installing
it (via Windows Update) will also take care of re-registering Urlmon.dll.

Hi Robear,

Yes, you are correct. The update Q818529 will update the Urlmon.dll file
to version 6.0.2800.1188. There is a buffer-overrun vulnerability in
Urlmon.dll that occurs because Internet Explorer does not correctly
determine an object type that is returned from a Web server. An attacker
might be able to exploit this vulnerability to run arbitrary code on your
computer. An attacker can also create an HTML e-mail message that tries to
exploit this vulnerability. This cumulative patch also addresses this
vulnerability.

For more information about this patch, visit the following Microsoft Web
site:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS03-020.asp

Thanks and have a good day!
