Hi,

I've never had a problem with this before but this is the third time in
two weeks the links in my Internet Explorer toolbar have switched back
to alphabetical order on their own.

I normaly keep them in the order that I most frequently use them. I
drag and drop them into place and everything is fine for a few days of
loging in and out and turning the computer on and off and then all of a
sudden, when I open Internet Explorer they are in alphabetical order
again.

There are no additional links in the links tool bar either. McAfee
Virus Protection is always on and I run a scan once a week. I also run
Spybot, Ad Aware and Microsoft Antispyware once a week and have since
I've had this problem all without anything unusual. Haven't installed
any programs in over a month and everything is up to date.

What's going on here?

Thanks,
Tom

I've had the same problem. I thought it was some other software that I was
running every once in a while (Paint Shop Pro 7) which I had just reloaded,
but I haven't run that for awhile and it happened again today. I did update
a few other settings in I.E., but nothing that had anything to do with
Favorites, so I don't know why they would have rearranged themselves into
alphabetical order instead of the order we had set them in. Very
frustrating! We do run ZoneAlarm and Norton Anti-Virus but had been running
them for quite a while before this started happening.

I see some other posts on this sort of problem, but no clearcut answers as
to why it happens. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Peggy

The same thing started happening to me on 2 computers sometime in February.
Both have IE 6.0 SP2. I hope someone can help here.
