Two tabs in an excel spreadsheet were linked together, say
tab1 and tab2, and subsequently a new instance of excel
was created for tab1. The links from tab2 to tab1 were
removed but tab2 still had links to other files. A search
was performed with the "find" feature to ensure all links
to tab1 were removed from tab2. Now when tab2 is opened a
dialogue box appears indicating that "File not Found",
file name: "tab1". The link - check status command from
the edit menu shows that there are still links to tab1
from tab2. Every formula was searched to ensure tab1 was
no longer linked to tab2. How can I eliminate the link
status to tab1 and eliminate the dialogue box?
