I had the same problem and I tried the help that "DK' suggested and it did
not work.
Here is what I did and it did work. The key word here is "WORK".
1. I used the add/remove programs to remove SP2.
2. Then I restarted in "Safe" mode (as an administrator) and ckicked "r" to
startup from my XP Home CD.
3. I repaired my version of XP as opposed to reinstalling the whole thing.
After going through all that I checked several of the links that didn't work
before and they operated just fine!
