Hello-When I try to click on a link from a page, nothing
happens. I also can't copy/paste any info I have filled in
on a page or even copy/paste into the menu bar. Many pages
do not load including this one(I'm at another computer).
Since I can't access this forum, could you please email me
with any info?
Thanks-

Open Windows Explorer.
Go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Select 'open'.
Click Edit.

"Application used to perform this action" should read:

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\INTERNET EXPLORER\iexplore.exe" -nohome
(Check the path to iexplore.exe to make sure that is correct and use the
double quotes.)

DDE should be checked and in the boxes below it you should have:

#1:
"%1",,-1,0,,,,
#2
IExplore
#3 (blank)

#4
WWW_OpenURL

URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy should be the same.

might not be relevant to you but i had a similar problem
which i spent hours trying to solve - some (not all) links
on websites did nothing, and some buttons (eg google
search) didn't work. Turns out it was the download manager
i was using - stardownloader. I've got two accounts on
this computer, and the one which i was using when i
installed stardownloader didnt have the problem. On the
other account, stardownloader's web integration feature
was causing it to block any links which 'send fields'
(though i don't know what that means). All i had to do was
open stardownloader in the problem account and deactivate
and reactivate the web integration. Everything is hunky
dory now.
