Is there a way for the icons on my links bar to open into a new window?

In Internet Options> Advanced
uncheck>Reuse Windows for launching shortcuts

Then when you press shift as you click the link does it open separate
Window?

What OS do you have?
I added "Link opens in new window" to the right click menu for favorites in
98x, because sometimes I wanted separate page for IE's link bar and dropdown
list.

Thanks mae. It works! I have Windows XP. Incidentally, it opens into
a new window without having to press shift.

There are a lot of different ways to accomplish same outcome in Windows.
