Linking to PowerPoint 97 files on the web

We link to several PowerPoint 97 files on our company
intranet. It works fine for some users, but it won't load
for other users. I've compared browser versions and
settings and they're all the same. Any suggestions???

Yup. Start by restating the problem in more detail. It's obvious to you
that you're linking to these PowerPoint files from XXX, but not to us. ;-)

Assuming that you're linking from an html file that's viewed in one of
several browsers, see this:

It's just a static html page in IE 5.5. running Windows
2000. I followed the link below and that gave me the
answer I needed. Thanks for your help.
