Hi,

Is it possible to link to an Outlook Express database.

When zipped, my Outlook Express Mail Folder containing all of my emails is
over 200MB.
I would like to be able to transfer all of my older emails with their
attachments into an Access/SQL Server database. and then have the ability to
archive selected records into a second archive database.

Is there an ODBC diver (or some other method) that would allow me to tap in
to the Outlook Express Database structures?

Regards
Graham

There's a remote possibility that you may be able to do this if you can
transfer the emails from Outlook Express to Outlook. Even then, I'm not sure
that you'll be able do anything with the attachments.

Thanks Arvin,

I've already come to the same conclusion and exported my mailbox to Outlook.
I'm just reading up on the Outlook Object Model and I pretty confident that
I'll be able to achieve my objective.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Graham
