OK, maybe I don't get how to use BCM, but when i get a new contact, I have a
choice of entering it in BCM or in Contacts - the two don't sync up as I
understand it. If you enter in one, how can you have it in both - reason they
need to be in both is to sync with my PDA -don't know how to sync BCM with
PDA. If anyone has a good idea or solution about how to either sync BCM with
Windows PDA and/or how do you maintain both databases so only some names are
in BCM but all names are in contact manager so I can sync that would be very
appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

I have the same problem, as I am syncing with my PDA and a service called
Plaxo that lets me backup my contacts.

What I do is create the contact in BCM so I can categorize it etc'. The I
simply copy it with a right click drag of the mouse to contacts. This way
it's also being synced and backed up.

It looks stupid also to me, but it works and I need no programmer to do that
;)

I'll be happy to hear if anybody else has a better solution.

MS has a Windows Phone add on to sync with BCM.

For a smartphone, the link is
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...97-E8F9-41F3-AE66-A7067DAC7ACE&displaylang=en

For a pocket PC (touchscreen phones), the link is
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...14-7143-41D9-84A9-BD628DB7B6A0&displaylang=en

This add-on maintains regular outlook contacts, then adds a Business Contact
app that holds the BCM contacts. Only problem is, when a call comes from a
Business Contact number it doesn't display the business contact info on
screen. You're back to trying to recognize client numbers, unfortunately.
Fixed in the next version?

Hope this helps.
