linking to MS Project

I have MS Project 2003 and MS Access 2007 and utilizing Windows XP
Professional. What I want to do is have a table in MS Access that gets it's
data from MS Proejct. Then I can filter it the way we need it and link it to
the dollar values of the jobs that we have going. How would I do this? I
have never linked with data outside of Access before. Thanks for your help.

I found that I can link MS Project 2003 to MS Excel 2003 and then link MS
Excel 2003 to MS Access 2007. Is there a direct way to go from Project to
Access?? Thanks.
