Linking to CSV Files

Is this possible ?

i.e. using the example from Excel help re: linking to a non-open source
can I use :-

=SUM('C:\Reports\[Budget.csv]Annual'!C10:C25).


As you can see , the only thing that has changed is the file *Budget*
extension from xls to csv.

Craig,

It has to be an xls file to link to it. Changing the extension (xls) won't
change the kind of file it really is. Text files don't have sheet names or
cell locations.

If it's really a text file (open it in NotePad if you're not certain), you
can query it, and get current data. The file doesn't have to be open.
