This isn't specifically a FrontPage question but I'm not a expert at
HTML and I seem to get simpler answers here.

Bookmarks have traditionally been used to link to locations in the
middle of a web page. For example,
http://www.orgpage.org/index.html/#class3. But, I have a case where
such bookmarks were not provided for in the original page creation
design to support what is wanted now. That is, I need to link to
midpage locations that have no bookmarks. Is there a way to do this?

I know unique words, such as "class3" at the locations I want to link
to. I also know the character count at these locations (e.g.,
character number 11332).

So learn more about HTML maybe? The correct term for this function is
"fragment identifier" which when used as a search term can help you learn
all you need to know about achieving your goal. Fragment identifiers have
also been called "jump tags" which also produces results when searching for
articles and tutorials.

You'll probably have to implement this manually.
