Linking to a list?

I'm trying to figure out how to link from one worksheet to a List on another worksheet. How do you stop the link from breaking when the List is filtered or sorted thereby changing the information in each row of the List. I know there's a VLOOKUP function, but it's too restrictive as the list needs to be sorted in ascending order?

Not if you use the optional 4th argument of False or 0 it doesn't
