Linking to a linked table

I have a need to move an Access table on a server to Oracle.

The problem is that there are many Access mdb's that link to the mdb on the
network drive. So the mdb on the PC needs to link to the mdb on the server
which needs to link through ODBC to an Oracle database.

When I tried linking from the client mdb using "Get External Data" the only
tables I could see on the server mdb were unlinked ones.

Is there any way to do this?

Why bother with the intermediary mdb? Link each front-end directly to
Oracle.

It is not possible to Link to a Linked table. That is why linked tables are
not shown in the link dialog. The reason is that that could technically
change the file type. And in your example that's exactly what you are
trying to do. Sorry, it is not possible. If you move the table, you'll
need to relink from the front ends. You can't just use the linked tables
manager either since you are changing from a Jet table to an ODBC data
source. You will need to unlink the Jet table (just delete the link) and
then link to the Oracle table.
