Linking to a .dbf Foxpro table

When I double click on this particular FoxPro linked table
in access, I don't get all the records. However if I sort
ascending on a certain field, I get the correct number of
records. What's going on???? If I just import the table
everything works fine!?!?!

Hi Herb,

I'm not an Access person but my understanding is that an "imported" table
copies the whole table into the MDB while a "linked" table is more like a
window to the exterior data table. My guess is that you have a relatively
large table and Access only pulls in as many records as you are currently
looking at. What happens if you use the arrows (lower left) to go to the end
of the table?
 
Thanks for your thoughts. I do not have the table at
home, however I will check it tomorrow. I have other
tables of the same format with more records and have never
seen this happen before. However, when you double click
on the linked table you get all the records; that's always
been my experience.
