Linking Text Boxes in Power Point 2003

Power Point 2003

Does anyone know if there is a way to link text boxes in powerpoint 2003? I
have a 20 page word document that I need to create slides out of & hate the
thought of cutting & pasting!

Have you tried Send to PowerPoint. All Level 1 Headings will become titles
and all Level 2 Headings will become text boxes. With a little formatting of
your Word document, you shouldn't have to do any cutting and pasting at all.

I have tried that... it doesn't seem to work. there are blank slides & the
text doesn't flow from box to box. *sigh*
 
I don't believe that PowerPoint allows text to flow from text box to text
box. If you plan a little bit in your Word document by tweaking the format,
then Send to PowerPoint might work for you. If not, I think you are stuck
with cut and paste.

David's suggestion should work! Are you sure that you formatted everything as
Level 2 Heading and then just the title paragrahs as level 1. You can only
format whole sentences.

Having said that this is going to produce a really awful presentation. Have
you thought about printing out the word doc as a handout and writing a much
simpler presentation to go with it?
