linking problem

Hi,

I have an existing MSaccess front end called supapp.mdb which links to
another MSaccess database called oedata.mdb.The tables are linked.

oedata.mdb has tables linked to SQL server 2000.The problem is when I update
recoreds thru the front end using supapp.mdb, local tables in the oedata.mdb
are updated but the linked tables to SQL server are not getting updated. Any
leads would be welcome.

Make sure that the SQL-Server tables are indeed tables and not views. If
they are views you need to be sure that they are updateable.
