Linking PowerPoint to a database

I produce a large number of presentations and reports with
ppt. Is it possible to build a template that is linked to
an access database?

I want to create graphs without cutting and pasting tables
into ppt. It seems to me I would be able to create the
necessary tables in access and then point power point
towards the db for graph creation.

Hi,
I think you need to have a look at www.take-off.as/datapoint
It handles everything you describe: link to access, create auto-populating
graphs based on access tables etc.
