Is it possible for me to link pdf files (scanned
documents, e.g. external radiology reports) to an access
database table or form?
Thanks,

Hi Doug,

Yes; the simplest way is to store the path to each file in a Hyperlink
field. If the user clicks on the filename Access passes the message to
Windows which fires up Acrobat and displays the document. And it's also
possible to create hyperlinks simply by dragging the document from a
Windows Explorer window onto a hyperlink field displayed in an Access
form.

John,
Thanks very much for the info. I'll give it a try.
