PPT 2000
I tried to link 2 PPT slide shows to run continuously during Open House. I
placed an invisible action button, the size of the slide and linked it to
the next PPT. This works great IF you are a presenting the slideshow and
are there to "click" the button. We won't the presentation to run by
itself. How can be get the button "clicked" automatically so that it will
hyperlink to the next presentation.

This teacher's laptop doesn't have Office XP or we would "insert slides from
files" and retain formatting......

Worked perfect! Thanks so much for your help!
Wish I could use this at school but our filter is set to block newsgroups.

You might want to check into one of the other ways to access the newsgroups,
either through the Communities interface from the Microsoft site:
http://communities2.microsoft.com/c...int&cat=en-us-office-powerpoint&lang=en&cr=US
(watch for word wrap on that thing)
Or through the Google interface:
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&group=microsoft.public.powerpoint
(watch for word wrap on that thing too)

Hello,

Doesn't it seem like this should be easier to do/discover?

If you (or anyone else reading this message) have suggestions about how
PowerPoint might make it easier to "chain" multiple shows together<?>,
don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft
at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
