Linking Excel sheet into Access

Hi there
I have linked an Excel 2003 sheet in as the primary Training Participant
data source to my Access 2003 database. All seemed to be working okay for a
while, but now the form we use to track attendance sometimes opens with
information displaying and sometimes does (the information is definitely in
there!). We tried taking the filters and password protection off the Excel
sheet - it seemed that the issues started when the password was put on a week
ago. Has anyone got any suggestions of how to fix this issue/things I should
look at?

I'm not strong on Excel (in fact I have rarely ever used it), but my first
thought is to highlight the data area of the worksheet, and paste it onto a
new spreadsheet. Then rename the original spreadsheet to something else
like SomeSpreadsheetname 8-31-08.xls. Then rename the new spreadsheet to the
original spreadsheet name. It seems like this will work. If it does then
copy and paste the other cells to the new spreadsheet, or repeat the copy
paste after selecting the whole spreadsheet.
