Linking Excel 2007

I am linking in data and charts from excel into word
when I have my excel on my hard drive it holds the links fine
but when I put the excel file on the network drive and then link it
when I close the word and re-open it breaks all of the links

any thoughts
 
Hi

I have never done this myself but I would imagine that you may have to
ensure that the full server path is included in your link.

Example

\\Stlwolsvr01\AMM\18Apps\Local_Intranet\Data\Stocks.xls

\\Stlwolsvr01\ = name of server
