Linking Database

Hi! I have linked copied databases before, but somehow I am having trouble.
I have my datbase (front and back end) on our S drive. Ok, so I need to do
some modifications, so I copied and pasted the front end and back end
database to a Flash Drive. I open the front end of the flash drive, so I can
link the front end to the back end that is in the flash drive. Somehow,
access is not allowing me to do that. I wanted to make a copy of the
database to a flashdrive, so I can modify the database in the flash drive
without having to mess the database in the S drive, so whatever data I put in
the Flash Drive reflects on the S drive, which is what I'm trying to avoid.

Somehow,
access is not allowing me to do that.

What do you mean by that statement? Did you relink your tables using
Linked Table Manager? Did that succeed? Are you getting an error?
