Linking Access to Outlook

Is there some way to link Access databases to Microsoft
Outlook's calendar? Ex: Setting dates in Access as a
part of the database and having Outlook give reminders for
those dates.

Has anyone ever heard this request before?

Yes, this is do-able. You can use Outlook Automation from within Access to
create appointments in Outlook. Here is a link to an MSDN article with code
