EXCEL 2003 - If source workbook cells are blank, some cells are general and
some are number, how come the linked workbook cells returns 0 insteand of
blank. How do I fix this? Thanks

Works the same way even within a worksheet, use:

=IF(A1="","",A1)
rather than
=A1

I used the following and it still returns a 0 value

=IF('MRR Form-2'!L1=" "," ",'MRR Form-2'!L1)

remove the space between " ".
=IF('MRR Form-2'!L1=" "," ",'MRR Form-2'!L1)

into

=IF('MRR Form-2'!L1="","",'MRR Form-2'!L1)
or
=IF('MRR Form-2'!L1=""," ",'MRR Form-2'!L1)
