I have created a database that uses a table that is linked
to a text file. I would like to make this database
available to some others in my office so it could simply
be opened and it would do it's job.
The problem I have is that each time I open the database,
I have to manually open the import specification. I have
to click to add a new table, select my text file, click
the Advanced button, open the specification and then I can
cancel the new table. If I don't do this the queries will
return a "Specification does not exist" message when you
try to run them.
Is there any way to avoid this issue, or any way through
VisualBasic to open this specification file on startup.
Thanks for any help
