Linked Tables Manager Malfunction

Access 2002. Although my database is split, when I bring
up the Linked Tables Manager, the window box that should
display the dozen tables is blank. When I do a "Select
All" and then press "OK" and select the backend, I either
get an error (sorry I cannot reproduce the error message
now) or nothing happens. Any suggestions.

This is a known problem in 2003, but I haven't heard of it happening with
2002. You can try the solution suggested for 2003:

Thanks Joan. Although I have Access 2002, the fix you
pointed to worked. I wonder why I had the problem "all of
the sudden" in the first place?
