Can linked tables that reside in a network folder that is secured by network
security (not Access security) be used by Access objects that reside in a
non-secured network folder?

FL Don,

You have asked this question and the question has been answered.

Depends on what you mean by "secured by network security". For example, if
the user does not have READ access, then the user will not see the linked
tables.

If you have administrative access to the network, or can work with someone
who does, you can easily test this in a matter of minutes, no?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "network security"? If you mean NTFS
file permissions, then all users need RWXD permissions to the host folder so
that the record locking file can be created/deleted when the mdb file is
opened.
