Linked Table

Hi

I have a linked table to my Outlook contacts folder held within the public
folders on the exchange server. The link table was created automatically
using the wizard and connects fine. When you open it, all fields are showing
with correct data except for the email type and email address.

I cannot think of any reason why it would not show email/email type. When
you look at the table, the fields are actually there they just dont return
any records. Even more frustratingly, every so often you can open up the
table and they appear only to disappear again the next time!!

Any ideas?

Systems is using Win XP and Office 2007 (without SP1)
 
I have the very same problem and symptoms. I can update any other field in
Outlook and the linked table gets updated, but any change to the email
address field obviously doesn't get updated, because the email address and
email type are all null values in the linked table.
In my case, the Access source Contacts table was generated first and then an
Outlook entry created from the Access detail veiw - "Create Outlook Contact".
Some advice on how to resolve the email address blank value in the link
table would be nice. Also, why isn't my source table also being updated when
the link table gets updated?
