Is there any code or command I can use to open/call the "
Linked Table Manager " ( Database Utilities )

I would prefer to run the said code from a macro or OnOpen
startup form

Any assistance or advice welcome

Cheers

Steve

Thanks for the link, however I have tried this route and
cannot get it to work. I am new to this level of code and
could not understand what was going on with the error
messages.
Any advice or alternatives most welcome.

Lots of people use that code without any problems, so I know it's complete.

What errors did you encounter?

Database is a DAO object. By default, Access 2000 uses ADO.

With any code module open, select Tools | References from the menu bar,
scroll through the list of available references until you find the one for
Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library, and select it.

Other possible causes of errors include missing the note that points out
that you need to include the code from
http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0001.htm in your application as well, or
naming the module the same as a routine included within it.

Doug,
" I personally dislike the linked table manager, because you can't see
complete paths."

Guess what got fixed in Access 2003?
After 7 versions!
