Linked-table manager in Access 2k ?!?

I need to migrate my application to different drive/folder, I need to relink all my tables, however, the link table manager does not seem to work. I say 'prompt for new location' and select all tables, it then asks for a location and when I give it - nothing happens except it changes back to the default folder
What gives? is the linked table manager really that useless? This used to work fine in Access 97.
 
Link Table Manager in A2K works fine for me.

Have you applied all the Serivce Releases / Service Packs for your A2K
installation?

The original release of O2K/A2K had serious bugs and to use O2K/A2K, you
need to apply all SRs/SPs availalbe on Microsoft Web site.

work fine in Access 97.
