Linked Table Has Been Renamed. What do I do?

I have a linked table that someone decided to rename. Is there an easy way to have Access update all of my queries and reports automatically. I think that if it was a normal table and I renamed it, it would update automatically. But, I'm not sure how to do this if it is a linked table.

Thanks, Josh

Go into the Linked Table Manager and select the table that was renamed.
Choose the option to Always Prompt for new location
Browse to the linked database and select the renamed table

When done, you can rename the table in your database to what it was before;
it still links to the the renamed table but your database still calls it the
old name.

This works with Access 97, I assume it works still with Access 2000.

You could use the suggestion made elsewhere in this thread - re-link the
table and then rename the linked table (you can give a linked table a name
different to the source table) with the old name. The only problem with that
approach is that it may cause complications if you need to re-link the
tables again in the future.

An alternative would be to obtain a third-party search-and-replace tool. The
one I use is Rick Fisher's Find and Replace (www.rickworld.com). Another
popular tool is SpeedFerret (http://www.moshannon.com/). I haven't used that
one myself, but hear good things about it from those who have.
