Linked presentations and end show problem

I am using PowerPoint 2003 on an XP pro machine, and have 8 presentations to
be operated by students. The main presentation has a title page that links
to the other 7. To end the show, there is an end show button on the title
page. I have saved all of these presentations as .PPS files and they seem to
run fine except the end show button, it sends me to the last slide viewed. I
checked the action settings and it is set to end show. I want it to end the
viewer.
Does anyone have any ideas to fix this?
Thanks,

My guess is that you have linked back from the 7 presentations directly to
the title presentation. What you want to do is have the links to the title
presentation use "End Show." What "End Show" does is it ends the current
show. If other shows are open, it takes you back to the previous show. So,
let's imagine you have two presentations. If you link 1 to 2 to 1, then you
end 1, it will take you back to 2. If you link 1 to 2 and then end show, it
will take you back to 1. Then, if you End Show, it will take you out. So, the
problem isn't with your End Show link in the main presentation; it is with
the other links in the other presentation.

Thank you very much, it has fixed my problem. That is something I did not
know. My job will have me doing more of these, this information will be
invaluable
