Linked .ppt file problem

First off, I'd like to thank "B" and "Tom" for helping out
with my original plea (15 Jul 2002 2:07pm). I have linked
all 8 presentations together, with our company logo as the
divider between each presentation. Very professional
looking.

Here is the problem. The 6th linked .ppt file for some
reason, starts out at slide #15, instead of slide #1. I
checked ALL of the linked presentations, and the y all
have these settings:

Multimedia Settings Tab: Set to "Show"
Effects Tab: Set to "No Effect"
Order & Timing Tab: Set to "Automatically; 00:00"

The presentation in question is 21 slides long, and none
of them have "advance automatically" assigned to them.
Basically, I have checked everything I can think of that
would make it run like that, but have come up with nothing.
I am using Office 2000, if that is of any consequence.

Thanks in Advance
Jon

One thing you might check is whether they are hidden slides. Open the
presentation and go to Slide Sorter View. Is there a square around the
slide numbers of slides 1-14 and a slash through them?

No, there aren't any hidden slides.

Jon,

See
Slideshow menu
Set up Show
The section headed "slides" is it set to run from x to y? Set it to ALL
This would cause the slides to show from slides 15 to 21

Kathryn:

That did the trick. I called the author, and she had set
it to only show slides 15-21, as she was goign through the
proof/review phase, and forgot to rest it prior to sending
it to me. Thanks, and I'll tuck this one away as a lesson
for next time.
