We have a customer that is requesting the definition and use of the 2
Property options "Link Wakeup" on both LAN cards in the system.

This is under Properties for either card, Advanced tab, as listed in the
Property list.

Anyone have a precise answer we can give him?

I am NOT talking about the BIOS setting. I AM talking about...

Device Manager, Properties for each LAN card, the Advanced tab.

There is a list of "Property", each with a setting.

The ones of interest are:

"Link Wakeup(Off->On)" default Enabled
"Link Wakeup(On->Off)" default Disabled

Our customer wants to know what these setting do.

The BIOS has a setting to return from Sleep when activity is detected on the

Answered in another newsgroup!

This is exactly the same thing as the previous answer but handled
completely by the network adapter driver.
