Link to word document problems..

Hi
I have a colleague who wants to link to a word document
from powerpoint-but wants it so that you don't have to run
the slide show in order to be able to use the link-
currently if we just just use insert hyperlink, you can't
follow the link when in normal deisgn view.

Can anyone help me ? Need it so that when some1 opens the
file, they can follow the link in design view without
having to run the show.

any help appreciated

Select the linked object, right click, select "Open Hyperlink" from the
popup menu.

In PowerPoint 2002, when you right-click on the link
in the design view, there is an option to "open
hyperlink".
