Hello, I have been looking for information on how to create a link in
FrontPage that will take users to a specific slide in a powerpoint deck. I
have tried saving the PPT deck as HTML, but still do not see how to create a
bookmark in the HTML file. When saving to HTML it creates a folder with a
number of files. When I open the main file it brings the deck up in
PowerPoint (cannot create bookmark). When I open it as HTML, it brings it up
in IE (cannot create bookmark).

Is there any way to do this?

You would have to edit the HTML output in FP to set your bookmark.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the response, but it still is not clear to me how to do this. My
11 page slide deck created one main file (i.e. Presentation1.htm), but it
created a folder with about 96 different files. Where do I put the bookmark?
In the file named slide_001.htm? And then how do I link to it? By linking
to Presentation1.htm#bookmarkname?

This just isn't quite clear to me. So far I have not been successful.

Thanks for your help.

You would add the bookmark to whatever page you want to link to, then in main file or where ever you
create a link to that bookmark. This would all be done in FP.
