link to mdb file with ftp

I have a MDB file on a IPS and would like to update the
data from my computer at home. at the moment i just copy
the whole mdb file using FTP to the isp.
Can i create a link to the file on the isp using FTP so i
can make changes to the data?

Access doesn't allow you to link using FTP (nor HTTP, for that matter).
