I am using Outlook 2003 Business Contact Manager with all
the latest updates. I like to use the Account History -
Add icon in the Account window to add/track tasks like
follow-up calls, send letter, check pricing on x, etc.

When I create the Task from the Account window the
appropriate link information for the parent account is
displayed.

Later, on schedule, the task shows up in the Reminders.
When I then open the task from the Reminder window there
is no linkage back to the parent account. Why is this?
Or how can I make this happen.

Commentary:
The Add task feature in Account history works great for
scheduling follow-up actions. However, I would like to
be able to simple click on an icon in the Task window to
jump back to the parent account, read relevant
information to complete the task, and then close out the
task. If I have to spend extra time to fill in account
link information in the text of the task when I create it
and then manually have to Open Accounts, Select the right
Account, then read History it makes this process much
less functional and appealing to use. BCM is designed to
same time. Here is an opportunity to do so.

Before you save the task, click the Contacts button at the bottom of the
task window and select the account that you want to associate with it. (Yes,
BCM should do this automatically, but it doesn't.)
