Hi
I have a secured database on a customer site, called SAM. Now the
customer has bought a document management system (DMS). It has an unsecured
Access back end. They want to link this to my system - via linked tables. If
the DMS PC sets it default workgroup to SAM, they logon and they can link
the tables. However, the DMS frontend still can't read the linked tables
because of the security.
Now if the DMS was a secure system, I would add a user, with the same PID as
already setup in the DMS, to SAM. However, I can't do that here as I don't
know the PID of the default use of DMS. Any ideas for a way around this? I
don't want to remove the security on my own system, of course!
Thanks
