Link Table Wizard Access 2003 failing odbc

I just found that both of my computers have the same glitch going on. The
link table wizard in Access 2003 fails when I choose ODBC as the source. Can
someone help me resolve this.

I installed Norton Internet Security 2007 recently, and other than the
latest ms updates, haven't made any other changes. I've started windows
without norton, but it didn't help. I've re-installed office, and it didn't
help either.
