Hi,

Im trying to create a linked table in access to the journal folder in
outlook 2007. The table is created but there is no data in it. So I run
'Update Table' from the Linked Table Manager and I still find there is no
data in the table, even though I get a message saying the table has been
updated successfully.

Am i missing something?

Kind regards

Hi,

I have just realised the location of the journal that is giving in the link
manager is wrong. It is looking in the Local Temp folder. How do i change
it from looking there - its certainly not a location I've told it to go to.

kind regards

Didn't you already change the File Type when you set up the link to
Outlook? Don't you get the choice of which table you want to import
from and choose Journal? AFter that it should be pretty simple.
