link bars are driving me mad

You manually insert it into the page you want it to appear on, outside of the share border area.

Yes I can do this but I want to keep the same layout in the page as other
pages in the web and as soon as I move it or create it in the border it
interferes with other pages link bar contents. I have tried to remove the
shared border from the page but it doesn't seem to correct the problem. can
you help!
 
If you place it in a shared border, then it will appear on all pages set to use the specific share
border.

If you remove the shared border, then you have use a table to duplicate the look.functionality of
the share border.

This is one reason I do not use shared borders or FP navigation component, because they limit your
flexibility. Consider using the FP Include Page component to insert your navigation.
