link bar problems

I seem to be having trouble getting my link bar to work. I am using
Frontpage 2003. When i open my website using frontpage the link bar isn't
there, the only thing that appears is the "+ add link". which means the link
bar is actually there but why can't i see the tabs. Then when i upload it the
text appears but not the colourful style tabs.
I changed the style of the link bar and it appeared in my frontpage but then
i saved and closed the page and when i reopened the page, it was gone again.

Can anyone help me with this?
 
Use of custom style for link bares (nav bars) requires you to create them under the FP 2002 SE
- open your online site in FP and create them there
