I am printing to a HP 5 laser. Basically a default printer install. None of
the lines I see in headers and other sections seem to be printing. I get the
shading but not the lines. Any ideas. (I tried making them wider).
thanks.

Some printer drivers don't pick up lines that have black color and hairline
thickness. Substituting a different dark color or going to a thicker line
usually solves the problem. The print processor settings RAW vs. EMF
sometimes make a difference as well.

You might also check at the HP site to see if there is an updated printer
driver. I've seen this complaint before -- updated drivers aren't always the
solution, but it's worth checking. If memory serves, the other complaints
were also about HP laser (not inkjet) printers, too.

We use HPs for our product that we sell. Good hardware but they do tend to
"over engineer" the drivers. They seem to put in too many cool features at the
expense of stability.

I have the same problem. Lines/boxes show up i the Snapshot viewer, but do not get printed. Changing line thickness and color did not help. Changing the print settings RAW vs. EMF had no effect. Did you solve the problem? If so, how?
