line fade in

In older versions of PowerPoint it was easy to make lines fade in line by line.

Now with PP 2007 I have been unable to learn if that is possible.

Can someone help?

Animations have not changed from 2002/2003 to 2007. What steps did you
follow in earlier versions?

You don't say how you got line by line animation in 2003. I'm guessing you
used an animation scheme which can't be done in 2007

Instead select the textbox (not the text) and Animation tab > custom
animation > add the animation. By default it should be line by line.
