dear all,

i updated pp with the latest patch, and suddenly
the function "line break" in the format menu
disappeared; i.e. now it splits the words at will
whenever i reach the end of the text box. usually it
should automatically leave the complete words in the
current line or put them in the line below.

our IT can't help me either...can anyone here? it would
be very much appreciated!

I don't think I've ever seen a "line break" function in PPT.

If you right-click on the textbox and choose Format Text Box, what's
selected on the Text tab?

hi echo,
thx for your reply!

text anchor point is "top", and only "word wrap text in
auto shape" is ticked. there is definitely a "linebreak"
function because it solved this problem before...do you
know of any other option which usually takes care of the
problem???

Anybody else familiar with a "linebreak" function?
