Not sure if I understand your question fully, but if you press the shift+key
whilst drawing your line you should be able to get the angle you want. At
least at an angle of 45 or 90 degrees. In PPT 2007 it's even easier as there
are little red connector dots. If you mean you want an indication on the
screen at what angle you are drawing, I don't think that is possible. If you
double click the line you have drawn, you can set the angle of the line on
the size tab of the dialogue.
