Setup: XP / OL 20020SP-1 / XP Fax
Problem: appears not to be with software as intended.
When I dial up my fax I always get the "line is busy" statement. I have
tried without going through the fax program and much to my surprize I get
the same message.
I do not get this message when logging onto my ISP as it picks up right away
(thus not hearing any signal).
The not busy signal in my area is x.x...x.x...x.x...x.x...
The busy signal is x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.
It looks like XP is thinking that the close rings on the not busy signal is
"busy".
Is there a way to have XP accept the ring tones as they are in my area ?.
Thanks,
Gary
