I would like to limit mouse clicks to Action settings and hyperlinks etc.
And use just keys for custom animations and slide advances. Is this
possible? I use PPT2007 and 2000.

cheers

If you didn't want to use keys at all, you could go to Slide Show > Set
Up Show > Browsed at a Kiosk. However, since you want keys for advancing
slides, you should be able to turn off the advance on mouse click (it's
a checkmark under Slide Transition).

Thanks David, that does exactly what I want.
Hadn't realised that its scope was more than just slide transition!
